This project was inspired by the movie Les Demoiselles de Rochefort by Jaques Demy.
Inspiration
This collection was inspired by "Les Demoiselles de Rochefort", a 1967 movie by French director Jaques Demy and is intended as a modern take on the costume design for the main characters, Delphine and Solange, portrayed by Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac.
Colour Story
The colour story for this collection was inspired by the candy hues of the movie itself as well as by macarons, the delicate and colourful pastry.
