brand identity

Tartine et Chocolat was created in 1977 by Catherine Painvain and was one of the first luxury brands to develop a whole universe and range of products for children.

The brand combines classic and timeless elegance, as well as the best quality products, passing down memories from generation to generation. The key products and visuals are the Ptisenbon, the signature fragrance, garda stripes, the mascot, Léon the hedgehog, and the signatue taupe color.

The visuals of the brand are very classic, and translate te attention to detail that is put in every product.

Respecting the brand identity was crucial in conceptualising the window displays.

inspiration

The majority of my mission was to produce window display designs for the Autumn/Winter 2017 season. The first part of my designs were inspired by "back to school" and autumnal foliage. The second is more festive and inspired by the winter holidays.

For the Christmas window, i was asked to propose window display designs focused on "Jean l'ours blanc", a 40th anniversary special edition giant stuffed bear.

Another focus was the New Year's widow, which was to be a "newborn/birth" window, for which I created a 3D scene of forest creatures celebrating the new birth.

I also created a number of spring designs focused on soft toys as well as smaller in-shop displays for shoes and accessories.
